Ethiopia Yirgacheffe Gedeb Natural Coffee
An excellent quality coffee from Ethiopia.

Ethiopia is known as the homeland of coffee, and it still has a specialized coffee industry. Ethiopian coffee's excellent quality is attributed to a number of variables. Direct purchasing is now allowed because of new legislation, which benefits farmers and roasters alike. It also supports them in the production of high-quality specialty lots, which are currently available.

The Lalisaa project was started by Sucafina workers as part of the Farmer Hub program to help Ethiopia's smallholder coffee farmers. Tarekech Werasa is a woman who started her coffee estate in 1990. Her goal as a Lalisaa participant is to create more consistent demand and higher prices for her coffee, as well as to assist all of the people who work tirelessly on her farm. Farmers are enrolled in the program each year for a training program aimed at helping them improve yields and quality while also gaining access to new markets and financial services.

Smallholder coffee growers make up a large portion of Ethiopian coffee growers, who remain to use traditional methods to nurture their crops. As a result, most coffee is cultivated without the use of pesticides or chemical fertilizers. Manual processes are nearly totally used to cultivate, harvest, and dry coffee.
