Kenya Kiambu Mukinduri AB Washed coffee is a single origin specialty grade coffee beans from Mukinduri Estate in the Kiambu region in Kenya. This coffee is classified into AB grade and SL varieties. AB grade are those beans that are between screen size 15 and 18 meaning that beans are between 6 and 7 millimeters in size. SL cultivars are grown with a focus on sustainability and Good Agricultural Practices, with the least amount of environmental effect possible.
This coffee is fully wash processed. After harvest, cherry is pulped on a disc pulper and then dry fermented. After fermentation, the parchment is cleansed and sorted before being spread out on African raised beds to dry.
Our skilled roasters carefully roast this coffee at a light level. High acidity with a hint of sweetness. Citrus, raisin, dried fruit flavour. Recommended to try as black coffee (pour over or French press).
